I met a German girl who told me she had just come back from Vienna. Wanting to impress her with my German, I tried to say "In your opinion is Vienna beautiful?", rendering it as Is Wien deinetwegen schön? She laughed, as she translated it as "Vienna is beautiful because of you!" I then realised I should have said Ist Wien deiner Meinung nach schön?
