She's cut the mustard on stage in 'Chicago' and now she's opening in a new one-woman show.

Denise Van Outen makes her return to the West End in Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Tell Me On A Sunday'.

Both the star and the impresario talked to 麻豆官网首页入口 London at the press launch of the new show...

'Tell Me On A Sunday' became a best-selling album in 1979 and formed part of 'Song & Dance' at the Palace Theatre in 1981. The new show has been expanded to include five new songs written by Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Don Black and, additionally, 94.9's very own Jackie Clune

At the press launch at London's Gielgud Theatre, Denise ran through the show's title song with a twirl at the end

The star and the impresario give the assembled snappers something to smile about

"The show's like 'Sex and the City', although not as crude," says Denise, "Most women of my age know what it's like to be on the dating scene, and that's what I wanted to come across."

"People expect me to be outgoing and loud," continues the Basildon diva, "but underneath there's a naughty Denise waiting to get out!"

'Tell Me On A Sunday' is at the Gielgud Theatre. Tickets range from 拢15 to 拢37.50. Box office: 020 7494 5065
