Ain't no stoppin' the Baton

United Colours of Sound

The official anthem for the Queen's Jubilee Baton Relay will be a special new recording of the hit 'Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now' performed by United Colours of Sound.

The song will be premiered at Buckingham Palace with a live performance in front of Her Majesty The Queen at 12 noon.

United Colours of Sound are a ten piece multi-cultural group and the members come from all over the globe, including Jamaica, USA, Nigeria, Trinidad, Sweden, St Lucia, Canada, China and England.

The group have already tasted success after they performed with Pop Idol winner Will Young on his hit single 'Evergreen' and United Colours leaders David and Carrie Grant featured in the Pop Idol series as the vocal coaches for all the performers.

The original version of the song was a huge hit for McFadden and Whitehead in 1979.
