Woman arrested after two children hit by car
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after two children were hit by a car.
Sussex Police were called to reports of a collision in Ifield Drive, Crawley, at about 08:40 GMT on Monday.
"A 54-year-old woman, who was the driver of the vehicle, failed a roadside breath test and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving," a West Sussex Police statement said.
A five-year-old boy and 10-year-old girl were involved in the incident. The boy was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Sussex Police have asked for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
