Arrest as man hospitalised after serious assault

A man has been arrested after a serious assault in Nottinghamshire, police said.
Officers were called to Watnall Road, in Hucknall, at about 17:00 BST on Friday.
Police said a man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-altering or life-threatening.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested and remains in police custody.
A spokesperson for the force said there was no wider threat to the community.
