Crews tackle fire on ship carrying scrap metal
A fire has broken out at Royal Edward Dock in Avonmouth

A large fire has broken out on a ship carrying scrap metal.
Fire crews were called to the RIJN Confidence at Royal Edward Dock in Avonmouth in Bristol at 11:47 BST.
No casualties have been reported by Avon Fire and Rescue Service.
A spokesperson for Hellas Confidence Ship Management which runs the ship, said "all crew members were accounted for" after the fire was detected within its cargo hold during loading.

"The crew immediately activated their fire fighting protocol and informed the local authorities," they said.
"All crew members have been accounted for and there have been no injuries or recorded pollution as a result of the incident."
The fire service confirmed that 11 fire engines, specialist appliances and approximately 60 firefighters were at the incident.
Teams at scene include a turn-table ladder unit and Bedminster fire station boat team.
A spokesperson for the fire service said they are encouraging people to avoid the area.
