Man seriously injured after hit-and-run

A man has been seriously injured after a hit-and-run in Renfrewshire.
Police said the incident happened at about 00:30 on Saturday in Thorn Brae, Johnstone.
The 34-year-old victim was struck by a silver Volkswagen Polo which failed to stop.
Det Insp Russell Paton said: 鈥淥ur inquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with information to contact police.
