Bikers invited to take part in TT Legacy Lap

Hundreds of motorcyclists and race fans are expected to take part in the annual Legacy Lap of the Isle of Man TT course.
The tribute has become a staple of the festival and is held to remember friends and riders who shared a passion for the races.
This year will also see some bikers use the lap as a chance to mark the passing of Hairy Biker Dave Myers and raise money for cancer charities.
Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson will set the lap off from the Grandstand at 9:30 BST on 2 June after a one-minute "Sound of Thunder", where bikers rev their engines.
Spectators
One of the most popular sights of the TT fortnight, the convoy will leave the Grandstand for a lap of the 37.75-mile (60km) course under police supervision.
As well as those taking part, the spectacle has also attracted hundreds of spectators around the course in previous years.
Riders who want to take part must sign up ahead of the lap, and each will receive a commemorative wrist band.
Signing-on will take place at the Hailwood Centre daily from 28 May to 1 June between14:00 and 17:00, and those taking part will assemble in pit lane on Glencrutchery Road from 08:30 on the day.
Following the lap, the course will close at 13:00 to allow for the start of racing at the 2024 event, which is due to be the first Superbike TT race.
The festival takes place from 27 May to 8 June.
