Police cordon on high street after sexual assault
Part of Exeter city centre has been cordoned off following reports of a sexual assault, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers attended Exeter High Street, near Waterstones, at about 04:10 BST on Wednesday.
In a statement the force said: "The victim is being supported by specially trained officers while enquiries continue into the incident."
Any witnesses, or anyone with information, is asked to contact the police.
