Two boys have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 13-year-old was stabbed in the stomach and leg.
The suspects, aged 13 and 14, were detained after the male victim was attacked on Cottsmeadow Drive in Washwood Heath, Birmingham, at about 16:00 BST on Wednesday.
His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, West Midlands Police said.
A force spokesperson added officers were investigating and appealed to the public for information about what happened.
