Police have appealed for help finding three men, after an elderly woman's mobility scooter was stolen and stripped for parts.
The scooter was taken from her home, on Clarendon Road in Eccles, at about 19:00 BST on 8 September, and found by officers later in an "unusable" state.
The woman, who is in her 80s with severe mobility issues, has "lost her independence" since it was taken, Greater Manchester Police said.
The force has released images of three men police would like to speak to regarding the theft.
Each of the men is seen wearing grey clothing and dark-coloured jackets - two of them have their hoods up, while the other is wearing a balaclava.
PC Sarah Whitefield said the woman relied on the scooter to make short trips to the shops, and to help her catch the bus, as she is unable to walk far.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have spotted anything suspicious in the Clarendon Road area on the night it was taken.
Additionally, anyone who recognises the men is being urged to contact the police.
