Arrest after man injured in Market Place stabbing
A man has been treated for shoulder injuries after being stabbed.
The stabbing happened in Market Place, Bloxwich, Walsall, shortly after 22:00 BST on Friday, said West Midlands Police.
"He was taken to hospital and treated for shoulder injuries, though thankfully his injuries are not considered life-threatening," said a spokesperson for the force.
A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and was taken into custody.
Officers said their inquiries would continue on Saturday and urged anyone who was in the area at that time and saw what happened to contact the force on 101 or on Live Chat.
