Man stabbed outside city railway station

A man in his 50s has been left with serious injuries following a knife attack outside a main railway station.
He was attacked in Station Square in Cambridge, near to Sainsbury鈥檚 and Pret A Manger, at about 00:15 BST on Thursday, 16 May.
The victim was taken to Addenbrooke鈥檚 Hospital suffering from serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
Det Con Andy Watters described the attack as a "shocking assault" and appealed for witnesses.
The suspect was described as a man wearing a dark, hooded top with white lines down the shoulders and arms. He also wore black trousers with a white patch on the hips, and black shoes.
He cycled off on a white bike towards Devonshire Road.
Det Con Watters said: "It took place in a busy area... and we know there were taxis in the area and people walking past."
He appealed for anyone with information to quoting crime reference 35/34576/24.
