A woman accused of causing the death of a boy by careless driving has pleaded guilty to driving without a licence.

Harry Parker, 14, was struck outside Nova Hreod Academy on Akers Way in Swindon, Wiltshire, on 25 November 2022 and died from his injuries.

Ivy Mwangi, 52, repeated her not guilty plea to causing Harry's death by careless driving at Swindon Crown Court earlier.

A trial has been set for 24 February 2025. She is also accused of driving without insurance and that charge will be reviewed on 27 June. Ms Mwangi was granted unconditional bail by the court.
