Eggy smell complaints prompt probe into landfill

The Environment Agency is investigating a landfill site after receiving a number of complaints about smells.

It said its officers were talking to the operators of the Granville site on Grange Lane in Telford, Shropshire.

People in the area had complained on social media of smelling a "vile eggy odour" coming from the site.
