Plans to replace 100-year-old village hall
The parish council said the old building was limited in size

There are hopes a 100-year-old village hall could be replaced, to meet the needs of a growing population.
Bucknell's Memorial Hall had "limited size, lack of parking and an inability to host multiple activities at once", the parish council said.
It has applied to Shropshire Council for a new one at the Daffodil Lane Recreation Ground.
The proposed building would allow it to hold more activities and events, it said.
Bedstone and Bucknell Parish Council said the new hall, on the edge of the village, would reduce the need for residents to travel to nearby facilities in Ludlow and Knighton.
It also noted plans for more homes, which would increase demand on the hall.
The new building would be erected beside a changing room block at local playing fields and the parish council suggested it could allow the village football team to return.
