A man has been left critically injured and another seriously hurt after a suspected machete attack in West Yorkshire.
Police said they were alerted by Pontefract Hospital staff at about 01:45 BST after the injured men attended.
A crime scene was put in place at a petrol station on Wakefield Road in Featherstone as part of the police investigation.
The men remain in hospital, officers said, with one suffering a "critical head injury" in the attack.
West Yorkshire Police asked for witnesses to the attack to contact the force using 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
