Man charged with attempted murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a knife attack in Birmingham, said police.
Officers said a man in his 20s sustained serious injuries in Fentham, Road, at about 20:25 BST on 31 March. His injuries were not life-threatening, they added.
Richard Palmer, 44, of Birmingham, who was arrested on Friday, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a blade in a public place, said West Midlands Police.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear before Birmingham magistrates on Saturday.
