Man banned from shops after credit card fraud

A man has been banned from entering shops in Coventry city centre after he used a number of stolen bank cards, police said.
Luke Campbell was identified by officers on CCTV using the cards, which had been stolen from vehicles in Hillfields throughout May.
Police said the 34-year-old, of no fixed address, was arrested on Wednesday and magistrates sentenced him to eight weeks in jail for fraud on Thursday.
The force has secured a two-year criminal behaviour order (CBO) which bans him from entering Far Gosford Street, or any retail or business premises in the city centre.
Police said he is also banned from approaching or entering any student accommodation in the city, as well as being banned from entering the Hillfields area.
Chief Inspector Daryl Lyon said: "This is an excellent result, not just for us as police, but for businesses across Coventry.
"By limiting the movements of offenders and banning them from specific areas, we are able to take quicker action to arrest and charge them if they are involved in crime."
