Man pleads guilty to Christmas Eve killing

A man has admitted killing a 23-year-old on Christmas Eve last year.
William Bush died after he was found seriously injured at a property in the Llandaff area of Cardiff on 24 December 2023.
Dylan Thomas, 24, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday via video link from Ashworth High Secure Hospital.
He pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denied murder. Gregory Bull KC, prosecuting, said that plea was not acceptable to the Crown and Mr Thomas will now stand trial for murder on 12 November.
