Artworks worth 拢130m on display at Christie's in London

Paintings valued at more than 拢130m have gone on display in London.

The artworks, which include a Gauguin painting unseen for 15 years, are on public view at Christie's ahead of their sale on Wednesday.

Gauguin's Nature Morte A L'Esperance, painted in 1901, has the highest estimate in the sale, expected to fetch between 拢7m and 拢10m.

Paintings by Magritte and Picasso, as well as a pastel by Degas, are also being exhibited.

Together they are estimated to have a value of up to 拢130.9m.

Other works include Sur L'Imperiale Traversant La Seine by Picasso, also from 1901, which is expected to fetch up to 拢3m.
