Derek Hussey suspended from Ulster Unionist Party for drink driving

Derek Hussey will be sentenced next month
Ulster Unionist councillor Derek Hussey has been suspended from the party after he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
The party made a statement after Mr Hussey's appearance at Strabane Courthouse last Thursday.
Mr Hussey admitted driving with excess alcohol, driving without due care and attention and failing to report an accident where injury was caused.
It relates to an incident on the Drumquin Road, Castlederg, on 16 September last year.
Three more charges were withdrawn.
He will be sentenced on 5 April.
Mr Hussey, 67, from Garvetagh Road in Castlederg, had previously been banned from driving in 2011 after being convicted of drink driving.
The UUP said in a statement: "Councillor Derek Hussey has been suspended by the Ulster Unionist Party.
"We await the judge's final comments."
Mr Hussey has been councillor since 1989 and was an MLA between 1998 and 2007.
