Where did Winnie the Pooh come from?

A.A. Milne first published his collection of children's stories called Winnie the Pooh in 1926.

The stories were inspired by his son Christopher Robin - who he included in his books - and his collection of stuffed animal toys.

They follow the adventures of Winnie the Pooh, a friendly yellow bear who loves honey and lives in the Hundred Acre Wood alongside his friends: Eeyore, Piglet, Tigger, Owl, Rabbit, Kanga, and Roo.
