Some of you might be thinking about decorating your homes or bedrooms with festive wreaths, trees and twinkly lights.
But you will have to go a long way to compete with the level of festive cheer The White House is boasting this year.
As a US presidential tradition the partner of the president, often referred to as the first lady, oversees the decoration of one of the most famous buildings in the world.
Dr Jill Biden said the theme this year was the "Magic, Wonder, and Joy" of the holidays.
Members of the public are able to take a tour of the house, and people are invited to "embrace their inner child" when looking around.
"It is a time for our senses to awaken鈥攆or each of us to smell the aroma of favourite family recipes, to hear the warmth of a dear friend's voice, to see the glow of lights and decorations, to taste the sweetness of candies and treats, and to feel the quiet stillness and strength of faith", Dr Biden continued.

A total of 98 Christmas trees were brought into the premises with the official tree, an 18ft (5.6m) fir, showcased in the Blue Room.
There are a total of 72 classic wreaths on the north and south facades of the White House.
Approximately 14,975 feet of ribbon, more than 350 candles, some 33,892 ornaments, and more than 22,100 bells were used in the making of the spectacle.
There is a recreation of the traditional poem, "Twas the Night Before Christmas" in the Grand Foyer, complete with flying reindeer.
The White House is expected to welcome 100,000 visitors during the holiday season, and more than 300 volunteers took part in decorating the famous building.
This may look like a mini White House, but is in fact made from gingerbread.
It includes 40 sheets of sugar cookie dough, 40 sheets of gingerbread dough, around 40kgs of a hard sugar paste called pastillage, almost 14kgs of chocolate, and more than 18kgs of royal icing.
We want to know who gets to eat that....
The White House is famous for its grand hallways and each one has a different theme.
From letters to Santa, to favourite "holiday candy", each one invites you to walk down and gaze at the extravagant festive designs.
When are you putting your Christmas decorations up? Will you take any inspiration from The White House this year?
