Liverpool's young players beat Chelsea to League Cup title

This weekend saw Liverpool beat Chelsea in dramatic style to claim the League Cup, or Carabao Cup, for a tenth time overall, and for a second time under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool were struggling with injuries and couldn't pick superstar players like Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones. It meant the team had to rely on young players such as Conor Bradley, age 20.

For Chelsea it was a disappointing result. They have now lost six Wembley finals on the trot, including three against Liverpool, and missed a lot of chances here.
