New Zealand waves goodbye to strange statue

Give a big hand to Quasi, the strange statue looking over the people of Wellington in New Zealand.
It divided opinion in the capital city when it was installed there in 2019 and some are now sad to wave goodbye.
Quasi is off to a new home in Australia after five years on top of the City Gallery.

The statue stands at just under five metres tall - that's nearly the size of a giraffe!
It was made by artist Ronnie van Hout and is a partial self-portrait.
It was given the name Quasi partly as a nod to Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. Quasi also means "apparently but not really".
Quasi was first put on top of Christchurch Art Gallery in 2016 but people didn't like it very much.
It'll be all hands on deck to get Quasi in its new home in Aus!
