1. The "Karaoke Kids" competition is open to all residents of Nottinghamshire aged sixteen years of age or younger on July 14th 2002 except for the immediate families or employees of 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Nottingham and the Nottingham Evening Post and anyone else closely connected with the competition.

2. By entering the competition, competitors agree to be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material.

3. Entries must be made on the official entry form, in ink or ballpoint pen. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible entries. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post or insufficiently pre-stamped. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

4. Entries, including any recordings submitted, become the absolute property of the promoters and will not be returned.

5. The closing date for entries is Friday 31st May 2002.

6. For copyright reasons 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Nottingham will provide competitors with backing tracks from the "Song Galaxy" catalogue. Competitors may only use their own backing tracks if the 麻豆官网首页入口 can obtain permission to broadcast the tracks from the copyright holders.

7. The main prize will be awarded to the competitor who satisfies the judges that he or she is the best performer in the competition. There is no cash alternative to any of the prizes offered.

8. The panel of judges will include at least one member who is independent of the promoters. The decision of the judges will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Winners will be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition both on 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Nottingham, the 麻豆官网首页入口 Nottingham website and in the Nottingham Evening Post and in any other media.

10. Recordings submitted to 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Nottingham become the property of the 麻豆官网首页入口 and may be broadcast by them without any fee or payment. Recordings made by 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Nottingham may broadcast on the world wide web through the 麻豆官网首页入口 Nottingham website as well as on any 麻豆官网首页入口 radio or television service.

11. The promoters reserve the right to use recordings gathered in the competition to produce a CD or cassette for sale to raise money for charity.

12. All competitors must be available to take part in the final of the competition at the Arts Theatre in Nottingham on Sunday July 14th 2002.
