Ìý

Latin America's only television market hosted by a single distributor will see Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Worldwide unveil a range of dynamic new content to complement its vast catalog of more than 30,000 hours of high quality programming.

Ìý

The eclectic new catalog covers a wide range of genres from natural history to drama, science to children's programming.Ìý

Ìý

With 6,000 hours available for digital distribution and 475 hours of high definition content already in its portfolio, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Worldwide offers a wide array of opportunities for clients across Latin America – from tradition television buyers to mobile and digital media buyers.

Ìý

Formats continue to go from strength to strength in the region.Ìý Following the huge international success of Dancing with the Stars, a range of new opportunities will be presented to clients this year, including new entertainment format, This Time Tomorrow. In addition, music programming will be represented for the first time.

Ìý

Steve Macallister, Managing Director, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Worldwide Sales and Distribution says: "Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Worldwide has one of the strongest content catalogs in the world and I'm delighted that we’re heading back to Rio to host this unique event, and present the newest jewels in our crown.

Ìý

"Latin America is a key focus for us and we look forward to meeting with both new and existing clients to identify opportunities and further grow our business in the region."

Ìý

Neil Nightingale, the head of the world-renowned Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Natural History Unit, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year and was responsible for the multi Emmy award-winning epic Planet Earth, will join participants in Rio de Janeiro to introduce a collection of breathtaking new natural history programming. Leading the list is 10-part blockbuster, Life, which was filmed in high definition and is the definitive exploration of the diversity of life on Earth.

Ìý

Headlining the history genre is Seven Ages of Rock, which charts the story of rock music from the suburb to the stadium, and from the crackly 45 to the MP3 download.

Ìý

At the opposite end of the scale, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Worldwide will present Infamous Assassinations, which chronicles some of the most notorious assassinations of the 20th Century. From the assassination of John F. Kennedy to the gunning down of Mahatma Gandhi, the tragic shooting of John Lennon to the brutal bombing of one of Hitler's henchmen, each episode focuses on a different story using archival footage and reconstruction.

Ìý

From drama there's Mistresses, a bold take on modern love, and Sharpe's Peril, a new adventure from the award-winning series Sharpe, starring Sean Bean. History of Climate Change, Oceans and Wild Tales will be available from science, while Beautiful People and The Cup, a series highlighting the competitiveness of a local children's football team, make their debut in the comedy genre.

Ìý

When buyers are transported into the wonderful world of children's programming, they will discover In the Night Garden, the landmark new show, from the creators of global phenomenon Teletubbies. Already a huge success in the UK, In the Night Garden is a thoroughly modern interpretation of a nursery-rhyme world and is set to enchant many children across Latin America.
