Creative & Business Director, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú in-house Comedy

Anne Gilchrist became Creative & Business Director, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú in-house Comedy in September 2009. Prior to this, she was Controller of CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú, commissioning all CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú content appearing on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú One, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Two and the CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú channel with responsibility for the CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú brand in all its manifestations across marketing, scheduling, online and presentation.

After many years working in production on a diverse selection of programming - such as Incredible Games, Live And Kicking, Blue Peter and The Ant And Dec Show - she went on to be Head of Development and Head of Entertainment for CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú and latterly CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's Executive Editor of Independents and Events.

She also spent two years working closely with former Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú One Controller Lorraine Heggessey as Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú One's Channel Executive.

Anne is currently on attachment elsewhere in the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú and Damian Kavanagh is acting Controller, CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú.
