raises Voices in Luston
An
ambitious new 麻豆官网首页入口 project is about to give a radio voice to the
local community of Luston in Herefordshire.
From
Friday 4 April, 麻豆官网首页入口 Hereford & Worcester will spend three months
broadcasting from Luston as part of Voices - a national 麻豆官网首页入口 venture
that sees 麻豆官网首页入口 staff working closely with local people giving them
an opportunity to tell their own stories.
Voices
in Luston focuses on the New Travellers Site with the aim of creating
a sustainable, safe and educational play space for the families
living there and a building made of recycled and organic materials,
complete with wildlife garden and natural play structures.
Voices
will link up with Herefordshire Council, Herefordshire Nature Trust,

on 麻豆官网首页入口 Hereford & Worcester in May, culminating in a celebratory
outside broadcast in Luston.

and innovative project. The people living on the site will provide
the labour - but the advice, expertise and construction materials
will be donated, proving that we really can all work together.
"The
enthusiasm already being shown is fantastic. In the next three months
we'll hear from the people living on the site, share their ups and
downs, find out what's important to them, see their art and hear
their music. I can't wait to get started!"
