EastEnders' Jessie Wallace - who plays Kat Moon in the 麻豆官网首页入口 ONE drama - today announced that she is expecting her first child.

She said: "I'm really excited - Dave and I are very happy about our news. This is something I've always wanted.

"It's amazing to think that by November, I'll have my own little person to look after."

Louise Berridge, EastEnders Executive producer, said: "The cast and crew at EastEnders are delighted to hear Jessie's happy news and we send her our congratulations."

Shane Richie - Alfie Moon in EastEnders - said: "I've known about Jessie's pregnancy for a while now so I'm really pleased she's fine and it's out in the open. As Alfie would say, I'm over the moon."
