The Miller Family - Joe Swash as Mickey Miller, David Spinx as Keith Miller, Gerry Cowper as Rosie Miller, Shana Swash as Demi Miller and Charlie Hawkins as Darren Miller

麻豆官网首页入口's EastEnders welcomes the Miller family

A new family is set to send Albert Square into chaos next month as they explode onto our screens.

The Millers are family to Joe Swash's lovable character Mickey and move into 27 Albert Square, next door to the Brannings and the Slaters.

Within a fortnight the unruly rabble manage to set fire to one of Walford's most sacred landmarks, steal from the market, break into the Slater's house and fight with the Square's matriarch Pauline Fowler.

Executive Producer Louise Berridge says: "I'm delighted to introduce the Miller family, who will be joining Mickey on Albert Square in September, but I warn you - this lot are trouble.

"Even the dog is dodgy. They're set to cause havoc all over the Square, and by the end of their first week the sparks will be flying - literally."

The family comprise of dad Keith, mum Rosie, twins Demi and Darren and eldest son Mickey.

David Spinx - Keith Miller

Keith is a good natured know-it-all who lives his life through the documentaries he watches on television.

He rules his family from his safety of his armchair, shirking responsibility and hard work at any opportunity.

David has appeared in many TV dramas including Tipping the Velvet, In Deep and New Tricks.

He has also featured in the films Conspiracy and Falling Apart.

This is his third appearance in EastEnders. Previously he played Steve Owen's cellmate Sharkey in 1999 and appeared briefly as a driver for Barry's cab firm.

David on his new role: "I'm really enjoying playing Keith 聳 he's a great character. I'm looking forward to developing his character over the coming months."

Gerry Cowper - Rosie Miller

Rosie lives for Keith and the kids. She's the backbone of the Millers, keeping the rowdy clan together by sheer hard work and determination to make ends meet.

Gerry is best known for her portrayal of Trigger's niece in Only Fools and Horses, causing Rodney and Del boy to prove their worth by going hang-gliding!

Gerry has also appeared in Trial and Retribution, Yes Minister, and The Bill amongst many others.

Gerry on her new role: "I'm delighted to be joining such a prestigious show. It couldn't have come at a better time for me in terms of my life and career.

"I know it's going to be hard work but I'm looking forward to the challenge. Rosie is a fantastic character and one that I can really get my teeth into."

Joe Swash - Mickey Miller

Mickey, the eldest son of the family, is a happy-go-lucky wide boy who has bonded particularly well with another dodgy dealer on the Square, Mo Slater.

Joe has been delighting viewers, especially teenage girls, as Mickey Miller since he became a regular on EastEnders in October 2003.

Shana Swash 聳 Demi Miller and Charlie G Hawkins 聳 Darren Miller

Teenagers Demi and Darren are inseparable, run riot around their family and always in search of mischief.

Shana is the real life sister of Joe Swash and is thrilled to be playing his sister on screen as well as off.

Playing Darren Miller is Charlie's first big television role. He is delighted to be joining EastEnders.

Tyson - Ghengis

Ghengis is the Millers' loyal Irish Wolfhound. This is his first television role.
