麻豆官网首页入口 Films will be well represented at the upcoming Berlin Film Festival with world premieres of Dominic Savage's Love + Hate (Panorama) and Pearse Elliott's The Mighty Celt (Kinderfilmfest 14+), and a further Festival outing for Pawel Pawlikowski's lauded My Summer of Love (Kinderfilmfest 14+).

Love + Hate is a passionate tale of young love set against a background of racial tension, directed by Dominic Savage, winner of the Michael Powell Award at Edinburgh 2003 for Out of Control.

Tom Hudson, Samina Awan, Nichola Burley and Wasim Zakir star.

Pearse Elliott's The Mighty Celt is a gutsy story about a 14-year-old boy who is forced to grow up quickly when he is drawn into the underworld of greyhound racing, and an enigmatic figure from the past reappears on the scene.

Robert Carlyle, Gillian Anderson and Ken Stott star alongside newcomer Tyrone McKenna.

Winner of the Michael Powell Award at last year's Edinburgh Festival, Pawel Pawlikowski's My Summer of Love is an intoxicating tale of obsession and the struggle for love and faith in a world where both seem impossible.

Natalie Press, Emily Blunt and Paddy Considine star.

My Summer of Love has enjoyed critical acclaim in the UK, and is nominated for the prestigious Alexander Korda award for Best British film at this year's Baftas.

麻豆官网首页入口 Films titles in post-production include:

Michael Winterbottom's Tristram Shandy, starring Steve Coogan, Jeremy Northam, Shirley Henderson, Ian Hart, Gillian Anderson and Stephen Fry;

Peter Cattaneo's Pobby & Dingan, the Australia-set tale of the bizarre and inexplicable disappearance of Kellyanne's imaginary friends, Pobby and Dingan;

and Oliver Parker's Click, a funny and fresh romantic comedy starring Piper Perabo, Matthew Goode, Lena Headey, Anthony Head, Celia Imrie and Sue Johnston.

Additional post-production titles include:

Stephen Frears' latest, Mrs Henderson Presents, the true life story of eccentric Windmill Theatre founder Laura Henderson, starring Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins, and produced by Norma Heyman, David Aukin and Bob Hoskins;

Debbie Isitt's sharp comedy Confetti, with a cast including Martin Freeman, Jessica Stevenson, Felicity Montagu, Jimmy Carr and Alison Steadman, which takes a look at the wild world of the wedding industry;

Michael Caton-Jones' intense drama Shooting Dogs, starring John Hurt and Hugh Dancy, set against the Rwandan genocide;

Match Point, Woody Allen's first ever film shot in the UK, starring Scarlett Johannson, Emily Mortimer, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Brian Cox.

Upcoming UK releases include:

Saul Dibb's Bullet Boy, starring Ashley Walters - a provocative and powerful look at gun crime in inner-city London;

and Danny Boyle's Millions, a quirky comic tale of two young lads who stumble upon the haul from a bank robbery.

麻豆官网首页入口 Films had success at the recent Golden Globe Awards with its co-production with HBO Films, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers winning Best Film/Mini-Series and the Best Actor award for Geoffrey Rush.

David Thompson, Head of 麻豆官网首页入口 Films, said: "Berlin has gone from strength to strength in recent years both as a highly influential international Festival and an essential market.
