Simon Mayo and Sonia Deol come together for joint Five Live and Asian Network broadcast

As 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio's General Election campaign continues, 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Five Live's Simon Mayo and the 麻豆官网首页入口 Asian Network's Sonia Deol will present a special simulcast programme from Warwick University on Thursday (21 April) at 1.00pm.

They will be investigating the relationship between music and politics, and asking if music has lost its political clout.

They will be joined by guests including the founder of Two Tone records and former Specials member Jerry Dammers.

This is the second of three one hour debates broadcast simultaneously on both Asian Network and Five Live in the lead up to the Election.

A final debate on the war in Iraq from Blackburn will be simulcast on Five Live, Asian Network and 1Xtra.

To take part in the show and share thoughts throughout the campaign listeners can call the Election Rantline on 08700 100 500. Key comments will be broadcast across all the three stations.
