The agreement was concluded by George McGhee, Controller of Programme Acquisition for the 麻豆官网首页入口, and Steve Cornish, SVP - Europe for Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.

The 13 by 25 minute series will transmit on 麻豆官网首页入口 TWO and 麻豆官网首页入口 THREE in 2006.

How I Met Your Mother is an ensemble comedy from the point of view of a man looking back on his single life from 20 years in the future, as told to his two teenage children.
听
Ted (Josh Radnor) has a good life. He's a successful young architect living in New York City.
听
Ted's world is turned upside down when his best friends Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) announce their engagement - a scenario Ted had rehearsed with Marshall a million times before but never thought would actually happen.
听
Ted realises it may be time for him to give up the single life and settle down - much to the chagrin of his bar-hopping "wing-man" Barney (Neil Patrick Harris).
听
So begins Ted's search for a wife, a search that leads him to Robin (Cobie Smulders), a beautiful TV reporter.
