Today egg cups go on sale for Children in Need

麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 4's Today is to produce a set of collectable breakfast egg cups to support this year's Children in Need appeal.

The hand-crafted, hand-painted egg cups - produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery - are moulded into the familiar faces of John Humphrys, Sarah Montague and Jim Naughtie.

They go on sale today (Monday 24 October) for 拢12.50 but will only be produced and sold between now and Christmas.

Listeners will be able to buy a set of three, a pair, or even an individual egg cup - if they feel their favourite Today presenter is un oeuf.

At least 拢2 per egg cup will go to Children in Need.

Today Editor, Kevin Marsh, said: "These egg cups are eggcellent for collectors - or for listeners who just want somewhere to put their breakfast egg."

Last year, the Today calendar helped listeners raise more than 拢100,000 for Children in Need.

Today egg cups can be ordered eggsclusively online via the Today website, bbc.co.uk/today; by post to the Radio 4 Today Programme Promotion, PO BOX 326 Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8FA; or from any 麻豆官网首页入口 shop.
