麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 2 Breakfast Show presenter Terry Wogan is delighted that members of the cast from The Archers will join him to perform three scenes written especially for 麻豆官网首页入口 Children in Need on 麻豆官网首页入口 ONE on Friday (18 November).

He has been a fan of 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 4's The Archers almost as long as the nation's favourite radio drama has been on air.

Characters Brian Aldridge and daughter Debbie Travers-Macy appear in one scene; in another caravan lovers Ed and Emma Grundy get up-close and personal; while Lynda Snell turns in a sheepish performance with husband and wife team David and Ruth Archer.

"It's lovely to be working with Tamsin Greig who plays Debbie," says Charles Collingwood, who plays the wealthy and charming Brian Aldridge in The Archers.

"We're doing a lambing scene so, without wishing to give too much away, all I can say is it's great to be getting down to earth for 麻豆官网首页入口 Children in Need."

Adding to the fun are Coronation Street stars Sally Lindsay (who plays Shelley Unwin) and Antony Cotton (Sean Tully).

And while the radio stars from The Archers enjoy their tv moment, the television soap stars get to grips with sounds effects from a radio production studio.

It's a recipe for disaster which should produce a bundle of laughs for viewers of this year's 麻豆官网首页入口 Children in Need programme on 麻豆官网首页入口 ONE from 7pm with Terry Wogan, Fearne Cotton and Natasha Kaplinksky.

Notes to Editors

A listener to Terry Wogan's breakfast show this week bid 拢17,000 to appear in a specially-written scene of The Archers with Terry and some of the cast, to be broadcast on Terry's Radio 2 show and on bbc.co.uk/archers and bbc.co.uk/radio2 next year.

The money is added to the 麻豆官网首页入口 Children in Need Appeal.
