麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 1 announced today that The Killers will play an exclusive gig for the station on Friday 8 September 2006 at the Empress Ballroom, Blackpool.

Highlights from the gig and an in-depth documentary about the band - plus an exclusive interview with lead singer Brandon Flowers - will be aired on a Zane Lowe special on Sunday 10 September from 7.00pm.
听
The gig takes place ahead of the release of the band's new album Sam's Town and is their first UK date since playing Reading Festival 2005.

Jason Carter, Editor, Live Music and Events, Radio 1, said: "Radio 1 is very excited to be hosting this very special live show with The Killers.

"It follows some amazing one-off moments over the past year with core acts for the station, from key UK and international artists such as Kanye West and The Strokes through to intimate gigs with Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Razorlight and Kasabian. This will be special."
