Pete Doherty on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross

Pete Doherty puts paid to marriage rumours on his return visit to the Ross sofa

Pete Doherty puts paid to the marriage rumours when he makes a return visit to the Ross sofa on this week's edition of Friday Night With Jonathan Ross on 麻豆官网首页入口 One

"Yes we did it for the third time, the ninth time," he jokes when Jonathan asks him about whether he and supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss married on holiday, "but no, we didn't get married."

He also talks about the constant pressure of being in the media spotlight:

"When you get away it's all the more special, you cherish it ... [sometimes] getting from the front door to the car is hard enough ... it's just the way it is, a lot of the time it's just 'oh look, it's Kate Moss's boyfriend' ... the other day we went to St James's Park at two in the morning, walked by the Palace, [but] by the time we got to Piccadilly we'd been spotted."

And he reveals his fame can also affect his relationship with the long arm of the law in an unexpected way:

"The fifth to last time I was nicked, the policeman had a badge on saying 'Pete Doherty is innocent', I was gobsmacked ... I've been face down [being arrested], before being asked 'you wouldn't sign this for my son would you Pete?' I said take the cuffs off, and I'll do it now!"

And he says he's at a better place in his life these days: "My life's a lot calmer, [there's been] a change in the fundamental way I live my life."

Pete also performs The Lost Art Of Murder live in the studio.

Tonight's guests also include Die Hard hero Bruce Willis and TV's youthful rock chick presenter Fearne Cotton who talks about her recent encounter with the Royal Princes when she interviewed them prior to the weekend's tribute concert for their mother:

"I can't explain how excited I was, it's the best thing I've ever done ... I'm surprised at how free it was, they were a lot less posh than I thought, wicked guys."

And there's more live music from Arcade Fire performing Keep The Car Running.

A HotsauceTV/Open Mike production for 麻豆官网首页入口 One.
