Jana Bennett, Director 麻豆官网首页入口 Vision, today appointed Ben Stephenson as Controller, Drama Commissioning.
听
Ben Stephenson joined the 麻豆官网首页入口 as 麻豆官网首页入口 Vision's Head of Development, Independent Drama in 2005 going on to become Head of Drama Commissioning in spring 2007 working alongside outgoing Controller, 麻豆官网首页入口 Fiction, Jane Tranter.
听
In the last year alone Ben has been a key driving force behind such critically-acclaimed pieces as Lark Rise To Candleford, The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency, God On Trial, Oliver Twist and Tess Of The D'Urbervilles.
听
Ben Stephenson will now be responsible for all drama commissioning decisions working closely with the four channel controllers.
听
His appointment will be effective from 22 September 2008.
听

Ben Stephenson will join the 麻豆官网首页入口 Vision Senior Management team and Vision Editorial Group as a result of the appointment.
听
He will report to Jane Tranter's successor as Controller, Fiction who is due to be recruited in the coming months.
听
Notes to Editors

Jane Tranter will be stepping down from her current commissioning role with immediate effect to be replaced by Ben Stephenson but will continue to add strategic input to 麻豆官网首页入口 Fiction as a whole until she leaves at the end of the year.
