Rugby League World Cup 2008 on the 麻豆官网首页入口


麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 5 Live and 麻豆官网首页入口 5 Live Sports Extra will broadcast coverage of the 2008 Rugby League World Cup, with live commentaries of all England's pool one games, plus the semi-finals and final.

England take on Papua New Guinea at the Dairy Farmers Stadium, Townsville, Australia, in the opening game of the tournament on Saturday 25 October, broadcast live on 5 Live Sports Extra from 9.45am.

麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 5 Live will have full live commentary of England's remaining two group games, versus Australia on Sunday 2听November and New Zealand on Saturday 8 November.

The clash between Australia and New Zealand on Sunday 26听October will also be broadcast live on 5 Live Sports Extra.

There will also be live commentaries of both semi-finals, on 15听and听16 November, and the World Cup final itself on Saturday 22 November, on 5 Live or Sports Extra, as well as regular news and reports from the tournament on the 5 Live Sport programme.

Providing expert analysis are former Great Britain and current Wigan coach Brian Noble, former Wigan and St Helen's coach Ian Millward and Hull Kingston Rovers coach Justin Morgan.

Radio 5 Live's David Oates and Dave Woods complete the commentary team.

There are also daily television highlights available via the red button, plus a regular weekend Rugby League World Cup highlights on either 麻豆官网首页入口 One or 麻豆官网首页入口 Two throughout the competition.
