Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Films won five awards at this year's British Independent Film Awards (BIFA).

Winning titles were Andrea Arnold's Fish Tank, Jane Campion's Bright Star, Lone Scherfig's An Education and Armando Iannucci's In The Loop.

The critically-acclaimed Fish Tank won two awards, with Andrea Arnold picking up Best Director and Katie Jarvis winning Most Promising Newcomer, whilst cinematographer Greig Fraser picked up the Best Technical Achievement Award for Jane Campion's breathtaking Bright Star.

Best Actress went to Carey Mulligan for her role in the charming and heart-warming An Education and Jesse Armstrong, Simon Blackwell, Armando Iannucci and Tony Roche picked up Best Screenplay for the hit political satire In The Loop.

BIFA 2009 took place at The Brewery, London on Sunday 6 December 2009.
