Let's Dance For Comic Relief returns to Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú One in February for a spectacular third series.

Alex Jones (presenter of The One Show) will join Steve Jones, to host this year's show, which will see an eclectic mix of celebrities slipping on their dancing shoes and showing off their dance moves to raise money for Comic Relief.

Alex Jones said: " I was a huge fan of Let's Dance last year and can't wait to join Steve and the team. It's come at the perfect time for me having just returned from filming in Africa for Comic Relief where I saw first hand how we can really make a difference."

Steve Jones added: "I'm really looking forward to working with Alex on this year's show. We've got a great line-up and I can't wait to see the performances – I'm anticipating an exciting, flamboyant and ridiculous show!"

Across three weeks, Let's Dance will see the acts (a mix of solo dancers, duos and groups) from the world of comedy and entertainment pay homage to and perform some of the world's most iconic dance routines in front of a live studio audience. Each week the stars will be battling it out to wow viewers with their moves, and secure a place in the grand final in week four.

Amongst the celebrity acts who will be attempting to trip the light fantastic and raise money for Comic Relief are: Noel Fielding, Russell Kane, Colin and Justin, Penny Smith, Andi Osho, Ed Byrne, and Rebecca Front.

Each act will work with a team of choreographers to master the dance moves from famous routines including Beyonce's Crazy In Love, I Love To Boogie from the musical Billy Elliot and Michael Jackson's Bad.

There will be a weekly rotating panel, made up of comedians, some of whom are former contestants, who will review each of the performances. The panel of three, together with the viewers, will vote for their favourite two acts to go through to the final and be in with a chance to be crowned champion of the dance floor.

Audiences will also be treated to weekly performances from the likes of JLS and Jessie J.

The show will be produced by Whizz Kid Entertainment for the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú. Jo Wallace is the executive producer for the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú, and Malcolm Gerrie, Lisa Chapman and Antonia Hurford-Jones for Whizz Kid; the series producer is Barbara Lee.

Jo Wallace, said: "The dance floor is being dusted off and a fantastic array of celebrities are limbering up for another high energy series of Let's Dance For Comic Relief. The celebrities will be hoping to get audiences at home dancing along with those in studio, as they strut their stuff over the next four Saturday nights all in the name of charity."

Malcolm Gerrie, Chief Executive, Whizz Kid Entertainment, added: "Last year Rufus Hound set the stage alight with his unforgettable take on Cheryl Cole's Fight For This Love, and waltzed off with the title. Some of the funniest names in comedy are already lining up to surprise the nation with their own hysterical interpretation of iconic dances."

This year Let's Dance For Comic Relief will highlight the issue of Malaria. Steve recently visited Uganda to see those communities affected first hand and we see his visit during the series. Alex has been out to Zambia on a similar mission to bring us a report on Comic Relief cash in action.
