Record online listening figures for Radio 5 Live's coverage of Haye v Klitschko fight
Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Radio 5 Live recorded over a quarter of a million online requests for its commentary of the David Haye v Wladimir Klitschko fight on Saturday night (253,988 requests).
The programme also garnered a huge number of calls and emails with people desperate to comment on the dramatic fight at its conclusion.
Commenting on the figures, Radio 5 Live Deputy Contoller, Jonathan Wall, said: "There was clearly a massive demand from our audience for online commentary on this much anticipated fight which lead to this record figure for online listening."
Mike Costello was joined by Steve Bunce and summariser, Richie Woodhall, for live uninterrupted commentary from the Imtech Arena in Hamburg.
