Why are we doing this and how can you take part?
If you are aged between 10 to 17 years old and enjoy singing, you can apply to 麻豆官网首页入口 Young Chorister of the Year 2024.
To apply, you need to make a video recording where you perform two (2) pieces of music. You should ask a parent or guardian to fill in the online application form, upload your two (2) videos, and then submit your entry using the 麻豆官网首页入口 Uploader.
From all the entries we receive, singers will be chosen to perform at the semi-finals and the final in front of a panel of judges, which will be shown on TV. At the final, one applicant will be chosen as the Junior Winner and one applicant will be selected as the Senior Winner.
The winning choristers and runners up may be invited to help the 麻豆官网首页入口 tell other young choristers people about next year’s talent search.

You must be aged between 10 to 17 years old to take part in Young Chorister of the Year. We may get in touch with your parent/guardian and class teacher, music teacher or director, choir or religious leader to confirm your age.

We might collect the following special category data about you (special category data is like personal data, but we just have to be more careful when we use it):

- Racial or ethnic origin

Your parent/guardian’s personal data
We will also collect some of your parent/guardian’s personal data so we can get in touch with them if we need to:
- Name
- Contact telephone number
- Email address
We will also collect the name and contact details of your class teacher, music teacher or director, choir or religious leader.

The 麻豆官网首页入口 will keep your personal data, and person who submits an application on behalf of a young chorister, for three (3) months after the winner is announced. CTVC will keep this personal data for sixty (60) days.
The 麻豆官网首页入口 will keep the personal data of winners for two (2) years, so we can prove the competition was run fairly. CTVC will hold personal data for three (3) years for the same reason.
If you appear on a 麻豆官网首页入口 broadcast or our website, it will be kept forever in the 麻豆官网首页入口 archive.
