What is a privacy notice?

A Privacy Notice tells you what personal data the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú and CTVC collects about you, how we use it and your legal rights. Personal data means any information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, address or picture. This privacy notice is designed to be read by children and young people, but you might want to read it with your parent or guardian. â¶Ä¯

Why are we doing this and how can you take part?

If you are aged between 10 to 17 years old and enjoy singing, you can apply to Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Young Chorister of the Year 2024.

To apply, you need to make a video recording where you perform two (2) pieces of music. You should ask a parent or guardian to fill in the online application form, upload your two (2) videos, and then submit your entry using the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Uploader.

From all the entries we receive, singers will be chosen to perform at the semi-finals and the final in front of a panel of judges, which will be shown on TV. At the final, one applicant will be chosen as the Junior Winner and one applicant will be selected as the Senior Winner.

The winning choristers and runners up may be invited to help the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú tell other young choristers people about next year’s talent search.

For information about how the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú will process your personal data where you are providing contributions to our programmes, please see our Privacy Notice for Contributors .

CTVC’s Privacy Notice for Contributors can be found .
