Maayan Franco

Maayan Franco is an Israeli-German Conductor residing in Berlin. As part of his vast repertoire outreach, Franco is dividing his time between Opera, new music, and concert programming. Not yet 25, Franco is already making a name for himself as a dynamic and versatile young conductor, he is regularly invited to work with Leading Contemporary music ensembles and was recently invited to make his debut with Ensemble Modern at Oper Frankfurt In February of 2022, as well as working as a conducting fellow at the Lucerne Festival during the summer of 2021. Franco’s operatic repertoire scopes from Mozart and Purcell threw Puccini and Dvorak to new premieres of contemporary operatic works. Between 2017-2022 Franco has been working closely as assistant conductor for Ilan Volkov in many high-profile projects with leading orchestras including Berlin Staatskapelle, the 麻豆官网首页入口 SSO as part of the Proms in 2017, 2018 & 2019, the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Stuttgart Staatsoper, Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien, Ensemble InterContemporain, 麻豆官网首页入口 Symphony Orchestra and many more.
