INTRODUCING 7 NEW HORIZONS SESSIONS

Horizons, the flagship project for showcasing the best of Welsh music, is celebrating its 10th anniversary by proudly unveiling the first batch of live sessions for 2025. This milestone series features seven of the most exciting emerging names in Welsh music, each delivering three live performances: two original songs and a unique cover or special rendition.
Featured Artists:

Ben Ellis: With a rapidly growing fanbase and over 190,000 followers across social media, Ben Ellis is solidifying his place as one of the UK's most promising new artists. He is about to embark on his first sold-out UK tour.
Buddug: An electrifying new voice in the Welsh-language music scene, Buddug has already made waves with numerous performances and has earned support from Huw Stephens on 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 6 Music and 麻豆官网首页入口 Wales.

Nancy Williams: At just 18 years old, this singer-songwriter from Merthyr Tydfil is turning heads with her breakout single, “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up.” The track has garnered significant 麻豆官网首页入口 airplay and amassed over 20,000 Spotify monthly listeners within its first two weeks of release.

Shale: This Cardiff-based four-piece delivers playful, jangly guitar-driven tunes that have caught the attention of industry tastemakers, including Huw Stephens and Emily Pilbeam on 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 6 Music.

Wrkhouse: This rising alternative band is gaining recognition for their bilingual songwriting, blending the beauty of the Welsh language with gliding melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

Source: A fresh Cardiff R&B collective bringing together some of the city’s finest talents. As a Horizons launchpad awardee this year, they are poised to take 2025 by storm.

Malan: Known for her unique fusion of jazz and pop, Malan is captivating audiences with her playful, catchy lyrics and magnetic stage presence.

The sessions were recorded in both of our 麻豆官网首页入口 studios in Bangor, North Wales, and Cardiff’s Central Square.
