At 7pm local time on Thursday 15 June, bells rang out in support of Music Day at multiple locations across the country and worldwide, from cathedrals to small parish churches.

Eugene Carr-Fanning, who rang for 麻豆官网首页入口 Music Day at St Bartholemew's Church said, "Usually bells in Church are rung to note services but there should be a wider goal, especially in cities where all persons locally will hear them. The bells we all rang that evening, on Music Day, were heard throughout the country and the world, in the countryside and in the cities, by all citizens and creeds. In that context, the bells should be meaningful and send a message of goodwill to those who hear, even for the few seconds."
