Simon Davies presents a series looking at modernist homes in the UK and the people who live in them. The Firs in Hampstead was designed in the late 1950s by the highly-regarded but little-known British architect Patrick Gwynne. Today it is the family home of William and Sharon Sargent, whom Simon visits for a weekend to learn more about Gwynne and his lavish design. The climax of the weekend is a relaxed and entertaining garden party.
