Saba Douglas-Hamilton visits Kapama Reserve in South Africa, and finds out how the elephant's incredible sense of smell is being harnessed in the fight against poachers.
Bush girl and elephant expert Saba Douglas-Hamilton visits Kapama Reserve in South Africa to test out an extraordinary idea whereby 13 African elephants are being trained to track down their most deadly enemy - the poacher.
An elephant's sense of smell is far better than that of any gun dog so if they follow a human scent elephants can help save themselves from poachers. To put these elephants to the test, Saba teams up with an ex-poacher called Magic to escape the elephants who have been set on their scent trail. But will Saba's knowledge of elephants combined with Magic's tricks of the trade be enough to throw the elephants off their trail?
